Privacy and Security
Quizli protects school, teacher, and student data and uses it only to provide and support the service.
Your Data Is Never for Sale
Quizli does not sell student, teacher, or school data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own use.
Data is sent to service providers only when needed to operate Quizli or complete an action requested by a user. The AI section below explains how uploaded content is handled.
How We Protect Data
Data stored by Quizli is encrypted using AES-256. Data sent between users and Quizli is protected with HTTPS/TLS.
Authorized Quizli team members access customer data only when needed to provide requested support or maintain the service.
AI and Uploaded Content
When you use Quizli’s AI features, uploaded materials are securely sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the requested content.
Quizli configures files sent to our AI provider to expire after one hour. The provider does not use this data to train its models. Limited request data may be retained in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, or longer when required for legal or safety reasons.
Quizli uses instructions and safeguards intended to keep generated content appropriate for K–12 classrooms.
Student Privacy
Quizli is designed to support schools’ obligations under:
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- Student Online Personal Information Protection Act (SOPIPA)
- California Assembly Bill 1584 (AB 1584)
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable
